What is BUILD A BETTER NETWORK?

A bi-annual District 7 sponsored recognition program for members that attend District 7 events and meets new people.

Awards for BUILD A BETTER NETWORK

• GRAND Prize is $50.00 for purchase of any item from Toastmasters International store for the person who builds the biggest network.
• Drawing Prize is $25.00 for purchase of any item from Toastmasters International store. For each unique person you add to your network, your name will entered. The bigger the network, the more entries.

Rules for BUILD A BETTER NETWORK

• Attend District 7 qualifying Events between July 1 and December 31 (part 1).
• Attend District 7 qualifying Events between January 1 and June 30 (part 2). 
• District 7 qualifying Events are: Saturday D7 Networking Events at Frog Pond Church, Speech Contest (Club/Area/Div/District), and District Conferences (Communication and Leadership).
• Each new entry or person you meet must be new. i.e. not part of your previous count.
• Update your network tally online with the District 7 website by following these steps:

1. From the Home page, login then go to Update Profile (under login).
2. Go to the District 7 Campaigns tab.
3. Enter the number of unique people you met, their name and a little fact that you learned.
4. Click the Update button when done and wait to win the Build a Better Network campaign!

Tips for BUILD A BETTER NETWORK

• Regularly attend District 7 qualifying events.
• Meet new people.
• Extend your network.

Each Toastmasters member will use the honor system for tracking their network growth. To post the network tally online will require each Toastmasters member to have an account on the District 7 website (registration is free) at www.d7toastmasters.org. After each closure date (December 31 & June 30) the contest will be CLOSED and all results reset.
