What is RED COAT? Every Area and Division Governor who achieves Presidents Distinguished status during 2009-2010 Toastmaster year will receive a Red Coat as recognition for their leadership to plan and set goals, resulting in the achievement of Presidents Distinguished success. Awards for RED COAT - Red coat embroidered with Area/Division and Presidents Distinguished status.
Rules for RED COAT - Division President’s Distinguished Program
- Achieve goals for Select Distinguished Division:
- No net club loss
- 75% of areas are distinguished
- Net growth of one club or more
- Area President’s Distinguished Program
- Achieve goals for Distinguished Area:
- 75% of October dues renewals received at World Headquarters by 11/15
- 75% of April dues renewals received at World Headquarters by 5/15
- Average of 1.75 CCs per club by 6/30
- Average of .5 ACs per club by 6/30
- 60% of area clubs become Distinguished Clubs.
- Achieve goals for Select Distinguished Area:
- Achieve Distinguished Area goals
- 80% of Area Report of Club Visit forms for first round of visits received at World Headquarters by 11/30
- 80% of Area Report of Club Visit forms for second round of visits received at World Headquarters by 5/30
- 60% clubs at 20-plus membership by 6/30
- Achieve goals for President’s Distinguished Area:
- Achieve Select Distinguished Area goals
- Net growth of one club or more
