What is DCP MEMBERSHIP GOALS?

An annual District 7 sponsored recognition program for clubs that meets the Distinguished Club Program (DCP) membership requirement before April 15th.

Awards for DCP MEMBERSHIP GOALS

  • $40.00 D7 dollars for the Distric 7 Store

Rules for DCP MEMBERSHIP GOALS

  • Your club must have at least 20 members OR a net growth of at least 5 additional members than your July 1st membership base by April 15th.

Tips for DCP MEMBERSHIP GOALS

  • Encourage your club’s members to invite as many guests to your club’s meetings as possible.
  • Consider conducting a special meeting like an Open House.
  • Sponsor a Speechcraft session.
  • Check out local events where your club can sponsor a booth to promote Toastmasters.
  • Increase traffic to your club website; use Web 2.0 technology!
  • Work with your club VP of Public Relations to run a club marketing campaign.

Membership applications and payment for members who join before April 15th must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than April 15th. Each member’s “join date” as listed on the application must be no later than April 15th. Transfer and charter members do not count for credit. There is no need to apply for this award. Your club is automatically entered when the fiirst new member applications is received in July.
