How do I report and who do I report my training results to?

I have setup a google form for you to fill out. This will enable me to track all training submissions with a spreadsheet.

Use this form to submit your Club Officer training sessions to the LGET.

 

What are the deadlines for round 1 of training?

Between June 1 and August 31

Who can conduct makeup training?

Any current or past Division or Area Governor. The primary responsibility is with the current Governors.

What is the minimum number of officers must a club have trained to receive DCP credit?

Are there officer training material for me to use?

You can use TI training material or modify versions thereof.

Are there guidelines on the format?

Past training as consisted of combining all training into one general meeting where the first ½ hour covers the general/common duties with the remaining time covering the most important aspects of each office. This allows all the officers to gain knowledge of the other offices besides their own.

 

For large groups, the format follows a mini-TLI version where there are multiple sessions held for each office or a combination of similar offices.

 

Use your own judgment. The most important element is for the new club officers to truly understand their duties to be successful for the coming year.

How do I get word out about my training?

Email the club officers about the time and location. Post the training on the D7 Calendar (login in required; account registrations free). As soon as the D7 Staff receives a new list of Club Officers from TI, we will provide that list to you. In the meantime, contact each club based on the website information.
