All District 7 Business Meeting and DECM (District Executive Committee Meeting), monthly Governors calls, and archived District business information.
  • DECM (District Executive Committee Meetings)   ( 3 Articles )

    The District Executive Committee, commonly referred to as the "DEC", consists of the following voting members:

    • District Governor
    • Lieutenant Governor Education & Training (LGET)
    • Lieutenant Governor Marketing (LGM)
    • Immediate Past District Governor (IPDG)
    • Secretary
    • Treasurer
    • Public Relations Officer (PRO)
    • All Division Governors
    • All Area Governors

    When invited by the district governor, those having business before the committee may attend. No others may attend.

    DEC Meetings (DECM) should be and are held at least four times a year and are chaired by the District Governor. The DEC is charged with reviewing and approving the District Success Plan, preparing a budget, overseeing the financial operation of the District, recommending the assignment of Clubs to Areas and Divisions, and reviewing recommendations/reports of district committees (including the audit committee).

  • Business Meetings (District Council meetings)   ( 2 Articles )

    The District Council, sometimes referred to as Business Meeting, consists of the following voting members:

    • All DEC voting members
    • All Club Presidents *
    • All Club Vice Presidents of Education *

    District 7 Business Meetings are held twice a year in conjunction with District Conferences. Any Toastmaster may attend District Business meetings. Those who are not voting members of the council or their proxies may not participate in council deliberations.

    *The club president or the vice president education may designate any member of the club to act as proxy. The designated member must be of good standing in the club for which they are holding the proxy of. No other proxies are allowed.
