I joined Civil Tongues Toastmasters in June of 2000 while I was working for the State of Oregon Bureau of Labor & Industries. I retired from the state job in 2003, but I continued my membership in Toastmasters and earned my AC-Gold. I have participated in area contests. I have served as secretary of my club.
My newest accomplishment is a book of poetry and four short stories (three of which I have told at Toastmasters meetings). The title is "Triumphs," author Mary A. Bell.
